The importance of the offshore wind component in meeting the commitments made by Portugal to the European Union, is unquestionable. However, as a result of the reflection carried out by the CNADS Working Group set up for this purpose, technical and economic constraints were identified, as well as uncertainties and potential environmental impacts, which deserve consideration, as presented in the report.
